Originally from Turkey, I've spent the last 20 years of my career in Auckland, where I was fortunate enough to own my own salon business. My passion for hairdressing has taken me on an incredible journey—from creating beautiful styles for professional fashion photoshoots and models to styling for countless weddings and special events. 

With over 30 years of experience, I am dedicated to using my expertise to help you achieve your dream hair.

When I'm not in the salon, I'm a dedicated family man who loves to cook delicious meals, catch a great movie, or get in a good workout with swimming or at the gym. Family is everything to me, and I believe that feeling your best starts with a great cut and color.

I am so excited to bring my skills and passion to Christchurch and can't wait to meet you.

I’m truly passionate about the hair, beauty and barbering industry, which I started some 30+ years ago. I’ve had many salons over the years and have been in Merivale for over fourteen years. During this time I have trained and qualified over 50 apprentice hairdressers and barbers.

Family is a big part of my day to day life. I have two great boys Jackson and Harrison, who have now left home and grown up. Jackson is a Superintendent  Greenkeeper  in Abu Dhabi and passionate golfer, while Harrison is a successful real estate agent and a qualified builder. I also have three lovely stepdaughters, three grandchildren, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law. My husband Mike and I lead a busy life, but in our spare time we both love gardening, working on house renovations, entertaining with family and friends, dinners out, a wine or two and discovering new places on holidays.

I also belong to a few networking groups where I’ve met many inspiring people, some of whom have become close friends.

To keep everything running smoothly in the business I split my time on the floor doing clients, admin, marketing, staff training and working on my design brand Victoria Jane.

I feel very fortunate to have a really great team I work with on a daily basis, everyone gets on really well and has great respect for one another. Having been in the industry a while now I’ve seen a lot of changes and I love learning new things. As a Master stylist, I’m really passionate about giving clients fabulous hair colours and styles that suit their look and lifestyle.

I come from Istanbul, Turkey, a very busy, huge international city.

My family still lives in Istanbul.In my spare time I love to travel, play my guitar, and listen to music. I also have an interest in photography and hiking outdoors.

I enjoy visiting many different places and meeting new people from different cultures.I have been in the hair industry for over 15 years, and at V for Hair and Beauty for a few years now.

I have done a variety of things within the hair and fashion industry, including wedding hair work on photo shoots for magazines such as Marie Claire and Xoxo. I have also worked in the luxury Hotel Ciragan Palace Kempinski and alongside Toni and Guy. I really enjoy my chosen career and creating great looks for clients on a daily basis.I look forward to seeing you soon.

I’m currently a student at Canterbury University studying Law and Commerce and working at the salon part-time. I was born in Christchurch and live with my Mum, Dad, twin brothers and my German Shepherd dog. In my free time, you’ll mostly find me at my sport of choice - rowing - or hanging out with friends.

I’ve worked at V for Hair and Beauty for a number of years now, having managed both the Salon and Barber’s Instagram accounts in the past. I currently work on the back end of our website, updating products and creating sales and promotions. You’ll see me making edits on our e-commerce stores in between serving clients at the front desk.

I love working at V for Hair and Beauty/ Vj Barbers as it has provided me with a range of new skills to develop, as well as meeting a variety of new people. I love seeing how happy clients are when leaving the salon!

I am originally from India - north side of Punjab - which is known for its culture, traditions and food.

I have six years of experience and i was worked for a very renowned company back in india.I’m fascinated how my work can completely change not just how people look but also how they feel about themselves. Therefore, I constantly work on improving my skills, learning new techniques, experimenting and keeping myself up to date with current trends.

I’ve worked with all types of hair, I enjoy doing different haircuts and the process of finding client’s own style.my hobbies are like playing cricket and i used to play in india as well. i’m also do yoga exercises to keep myself fit. that’s all about me.

I’m the in-house salon social media manager and graphic designer at V for Hair. I Graduated with Diplomas of Visual Communications in Design and UI/UX Design.

As well as being passionate with Content Creation in Social Media. I’ve been in New Zealand for 11 years, originally born in the Philippines. My upbringing as a creative taught me a lot about the importance of creativity in the work field as the world is always going to constantly come up with something new.

Outside of work, I am passionate with content creation through photography, videography and films–creating memories through art.

I am a 3rd year apprentice at V for Hair.

I studied at Ara for 2 years doing hairdressing. I grew up in Christchurch, and have been here my whole life.

I love to play hockey, snowboard and hangout with people I love. Travelling is one of my favourite things to do over breaks or holidays, even though one of my biggest fears is flying on a plane!!

I started at V for hair in December 2023, I have already learnt so many new things and skills for all the stylists here. The team at V for hair are all amazing and can’t wait to keep working with them in the future.

Hairdressing has become a love of mine, making people feel confident, beautiful and overall happy! I can’t wait to keep upgrading my skills over the last 18 months of my apprenticeship.

I’m a Lincoln University Student currently studying a Bachelor in Land, Property and Evaluation. I grew up in Culverden, a small town in north Canterbury on Farm. I went to boarding school in Christchurch in 2019 and have been in Christchurch ever since. 

In my spare time I am usually playing sports- rowing, skiing, netball. But I also love spending time with my friends and family, road trips, baking and many other things! 

I have been working V for Hair since the start of November filling in for Tyler over the summer. I have very much enjoyed working at the front desk and have learnt a range of new skills, as well as meeting a lot of new people. Very grateful to work with such incredible people, in a great salon.
